Please be informed that effective 1st October 2024 , it is now mandatory for all passengers traveling to Zanzibar to have inbound Travel Insurance.
The insurance provides essential coverage for unexpected medical expenses, repatriation, personal accidents, baggage delays, and other travel-related incidents.
Key Details:
Cost: 44 USD per visitor
Coverage: Begins upon arrival in Zanzibar and lasts up to 92 days.
Where to purchase: Passengers must purchase the policy through the official website www.visitzanzibar.go.tz
Documentation: Passengers will receive their policy documents via email and should be advised to carry them during their trip.
