Meals in Business Class

We welcome you on board with a glass of fine champagne or water as you settle down to experience our warm African hospitality.  

  • Short haul flights  - between 46 minutes and 1hr 30 minutes - We serve freshly prepared cold and hot snacks served with a beverage of choice. The snacks will depend on the time of the day (sneak pic of the meal and the menu).  
  • Medium haul flights - between 1 hour 46 minutes and 5 hours - A hot light meal that has a main course and a dessert, bread, and butter, or a hot breakfast or a brunch is served based on the time of the day (sneak pic of the meal and the menu) 
Meals in Business Class
  • Long haul flights-6 hours- 11 hours-for these flights -we serve two meals depending on the number of hours and the time of the day. The meals are plated by your flight attendant hot and fresh (sneak pic of the meal and the menu)  
  • Super long-haul flights – 1101 hours and above-we serve three meals depending on the time of the day. The meals are plated by your flight attendant hot and fresh (sneak pic of the meal and the menu)

Meals in Economy Class

Depending on the length of the flight, we serve nuts, snacks, or a main meal. Relax as you await to go on a journey of warm African Hospitality   

  • Short haul flights - between 46 minutes and 1hr 30 minutes-we offer freshly prepared cold and hot snacks served with a beverage of choice. (sneak pic of the meal and the menu) 
  • Medium haul flights-between -1 hour 46 minutes and 5 hours- A hot light meal, hot breakfast, or continental breakfast is served depending on the time of the day (sneak pic of the meal and the menu)  
  • Long haul flights -6 hours -11 hours – two meal service – the options are a dinner, a lunch, or a hot breakfast (sneak pic of the meal and the menu) 
  • Super long-haul flights- 1101 hours and above -three meal service depending on the time of the day (sneak pic of the meal and the menu) 

Special Meals

Kenya Airways offer you a wide selection of special meals, prepared according to your individual preferences and lifestyles.  

We allow you to make your special meal order prior to your travel. Our SPML is curated to fit the following;  

  • Medical requirements  – Diabetic meal, bland meal, gluten-free meal, low calories meal, low-fat meal, low sodium meal and Low lactose meal  
  • Dietary requirements –Asian vegetarian meal, vegetarian raw meal, vegetarian vegan meal, Vegetarian Lacto Ovo meal, Fruit platter. 
  • Religious requirements-Jain meal, Hindu meal, Moslem meal, Kosher meal 
  • Other – Baby meal, Child meal, sea food meal, fruit platter
